Finally! A water bottle that doesn’t leak.

UPDATE 9-17-2008: This bottle contains BPA. Fail.
I've been looking for literally months for a water bottle / beverage container that doesn't leak. Reason being that I like to bring my protein shakes with me to work and sip them throughout the day. Well, in the past... I've made quite a handful of messes. My car, my laptop carrying bag, my coat, shirts... the list continues. Last week I spied a nice looking water bottle on the receptionist's desk and hit the jackpot. What I was really looking for was a "leak proof" design (read: it has a rubber seal in it so it actually makes a seal rather than plastic against plastic like all you other idiodic beverage containers currently distribute). Here we are... the Rubbermaid Chug Bottle. Success! No drops, no drips... I am a happy fellow. The receptionist was nice enough to buy me one while she was at her local Meijer (since my Meijer didn't have one - I already checked). Awesome! Thanks Rubbermaid (and an even bigger thanks to the receptionist for being so cool and picking one up for me)!!!!!!!

Rubbermaid Chug Bottles

Orbit addiction…interesting perk.

So, like an idiot, I hadn't gone to the dentist in over three (3) years. The whole left side of my mouth felt like it was completely full of cavities and I was dreading going to a dentist. I finally broke down a couple weeks ago and went only to find out that I had no cavities but I'm grinding my teeth down to nothing.

I got to thinking about it and I've been addicted to orbit for about four (4) years now. If I run out throughout the day I end up having to go to the local super market and buy some gum. I believe this is what kept me from getting cavities. An article in the most recent reader's digest mentioned sugar free gum keeping your teeth healthy. I tried to find the article on their website but all I found was the following:

"Chewing sugarless gum stimulates the flow of saliva, which decreases acid and flushes out food particles." - Reader's Digest

At any rate, no cavities is well worth the money I spend on gum... :)
